With David’s direction the company developed a reputation for outstanding workmanship and unbeatable prices. The company relied solely on word-of-mouth marketing to bring in new jobs and this meant their website was left neglected.

24-7 Tradesmen’s old website was built on an old Umbraco CMS and lacked the design, functionality and ease-of-use we have come to expect from modern websites.

Glasgoweb was chosen to lead the redevelopment of the website and bring 24-7’s digital presence up-to-date.

Strategy

During our initial research we quickly identified the skill, expertise and experience the tradesmen as the company’s main selling point. To highlight this we devoted blocks of each service page to recent projects which shows the real work they do.

It’s the Case Study section where the website truly comes into its own though. By matching high quality imagery to a straightforward report from each project, users get a real sense for the workmanship that goes into every single project.

With the new site built, we had to find a way to get it seen. We designed and implemented a local SEO strategy based around geographically-targeted landing pages and smart content. This proved immensely successful and traffic has increased in the months since the redevelopment.
